Space engineer and MSc researcher working in space situational awareness, optical imaging, sensor simulation, image processing, and artificial intelligence.
Converting MATLAB simulation and image-processing software into C++, implementing new functionality, and profiling and optimizing runtime and memory performance. Supporting development of optical space situational awareness algorithms and simulations for mission-related applications.
Conduct laboratory sessions, assist students with course material, and grade coursework.
Conducted collaborative research with KASI and York University on non-generative and generative artificial intelligence developments within space situational awareness.
Conducted a literature review on artificial intelligence applications in space situational awareness to guide laboratory research and inform MSc work, supporting research connections between York University and KASI.
Conducted research under Prof. Regina Lee on the Space-Based Optical Imaging Simulator (SBOIS). Developed Python and MATLAB tools for in-space optical modeling and integrated mission-specific adaptations in collaboration with Magellan Aerospace for the Redwing Microsatellite mission.
Independently designed and delivered hour-long stationary cycling classes for participants ranging from beginners to trained athletes, monitoring form, safety, and performance and iterating class structure using participant feedback.
